New Minimum Retroreflectivity Requirements in the MUTCD
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has just recently published the second revision to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) that establishes minimum retroreflectivity levels that must be maintained for traffic signs. Agencies have until 2012 to implement a sign assessment and management program to maintain signs at or above the minimum specified levels. The RoadVista model 922 Sign Retroreflectometer is the ultimate tool to ensure compliance with the MUTCD and is an integral part of any sign management program.
